Discover Your Spiritual Gifts
God has given each of us gifts through the Holy Spirit to both help one another and contribute toward the spiritual growth of the whole church. Discovery of our unique design will guide disciples to know where to begin to serve as a part of the body of Christ.
God has named the church “the Body of Christ.” This name makes perfect sense when you consider God’s desire for His collected sons and daughters to represent Him-to be His hands and feet. God wants us to be the tangible expression of Christ in the world. When someone needs to feel the love of God, followers of Jesus are there to compassionately listen, lend a hand, and show empathy in tears. We become God’s physical response team to the brokenness of the world.
What part of the body are you? What part does God want you to play? This is an important question for every disciple. God has given all believers in Jesus special spiritual gifts that help them discover their role on His team. These gifts clarify the service roles we play in the local church. They also fuel our mission outside of the church, to our city and world. As a gifted disciple, you are a key part of the ministry of Faith Bible Church and God’s wider Kingdom building plan worldwide. No one else can fill the role for which God has uniquely equipped you.
